At Hendrix Elementary, every child is known, valued, and encouraged to discover who they can become. Our students, families, educators, and community partners work together to create a joyful place where relationships matter and every student has a story worth telling. I belong here.

As an IB World School grounded in Visible Learning practices, Hendrix develops curious, knowledgeable, and caring young people who understand what they are learning, why they are learning it, and what success looks like. Through inquiry, meaningful feedback, reflection, and student agency, Wildcats learn to ask questions, make connections, consider different perspectives, and take ownership of their growth. I understand my learning.

CREATE

As an ABC Certified School, Hendrix believes creativity is essential to learning. Visual art, music, dance, and theatre come alive through arts integration, performances, visiting artists, and authentic opportunities to create. At Hendrix, the arts aren't an extra—they're part of how we learn. I have something to contribute.

Learning at Hendrix reaches far beyond the classroom. Through leadership, mentoring, service, community partnerships, special experiences, and beloved Wildcat traditions, students begin imagining where their stories might take them.
