As a S.C. Transform School, teachers are working diligently to increase technology and real-world learning experiences that will prepare our students to be well-rounded global citizens. Research indicates that students need to be collaborative, creative, critical thinkers and strong communicators. The faculty and staff provide differentiated student centered instruction following our state standards in an IB environment that prepares them to become active, compassionate, life-long learners and responsible world class citizens.

We seek to have local and global partnerships that make a daily impact; changing perspectives to empower ourselves and others through the integration of research, service, and academic programming. Local and global partnerships with faith-based organizations, community organizations, small businesses, corporations, schools, agencies, colleges and universities, share resources to help expand inquiry- based educational practices, global perspectives, and support among the community in which we serve.

With our 1:1 EXCEL initiative, we utilize the advancements in technology to make the world seem a little smaller everyday while offering an understanding of different societies and cultures as a component of education to support international mindedness and global thinking.
